I had a nice change of pace at work on Monday. I volunteered to help out at the Center’s golf tournament fund raiser. At noon there was a nice lunch for the players and helpers. For most of the afternoon I rode around on a golf cart handing out cold beverages to the players.
A friend recently had an operation so I’ve been cooking for three lately. I made a delicious Szechuan Shrimp and Broccoli Stir Fry and thought I’d share the recipe.
The House is holding its July 4th picnic this weekend. We are expecting 50 people! I’m making brownies and Darn Good Chocolate Cake. I know a lot of people will want this recipe. Here it is:

On Sunday my twin nieces, who are members of the Baltimore Youth Orchestra, performed in a concert at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. They both play the viola. It was very exciting to see them play in such a grand venue.
