Inside the House

Hi!  I had a grand time this week at our conference.  I attended a wonderful hospitality reception at the Hotel Sheraton, meeting old friends and making new ones.  A beautiful memorial service was held to honor our  deceased members from all the chapters and lodges across the country, Bermuda and England.  The meetings and workshops were informative and the grand ball was fantastic!  It was a big honor to have the conference in Baltimore this year.  It may take 15-20 years before it is held here again.  I had a great time!

 

Well, the month is at an end and it will be August in another day or two.  Time for me to put on my worrying hat and face the issues of my financial and medical needs.  My short term goal is to find health insurance with a prescription plan.  I plan on going on line to compare three health insurance companies.  I'll do this on Monday.  My next step is to find out how much it will cost for my prescriptions, visits to my doctor and my therapist.  So, next week I'll be gathering information to help me plan a budget.  The bottom line is I need to know how much it will cost me each month to keep my mind and body healthy.  So, that is the plan for next week.  Something tells me I'll do just fine.
