Hello my friends!  This week I've been reading and knitting up a storm!  As you know, I've set a goal to knit 20 scarfs during the summer.  The summer is just begun and I think I well exceed my goal!  So far, I've knitted 15 scarfs.

We have a number of activities that we can participate in here.  One activity was to attend Bingo at this sweet little church.  The evening started with a visit to the church store.  There, we were able to search and pick out clothing, home and kitchen items and small furniture.  I was able to find shelves of books.  I was so excited!  I was able to fine two shopping bags of murder mysteries!  The evening ended with hot dogs, hamburgers and snacks.  Then we played Bingo.  We had big time fun!
 
Since that night, I have been enjoying myself reading.  We've been promised more visits to the church for more activities.  I am looking forward to this.  This is just another way that this program makes living here a great experience!
