Juanita Weeks 1 and 2

Hello. My name is Juanita. I am a current resident at the Jenkins House which is a part of Women’s Housing Coalition.  I would like to share my journey of life with you. Interested???  Let’s begin… Today I started my day with prayer and affirmations. I read the affirmations out loud so that I could hear them. The affirmation reminded me that God is my source, not a job, family, credit cards, but … God. I have to remind myself of that constantly, because sometimes I get a little frustrated because I am not working, but I keep looking and I keep applying…..

Hello again… well today I feel peaceful Looking for work is more exhausting than the work itself. On top of fighting the “ blah” feeling that comes with depression. However!!!!  I keep moving forward, I won’t give up…. Must never give up!!!!
